Now that all of the papers have been signed regarding the sale of my home in Garden City, I wish to extend to you my sincere thanks for the successful effort by you and your team in closing the deal.

My position at W. R. Grace & Co. gives me the responsibility for the relocation of the Corporate Headquarters' functions from New York City to Boca Raton, Florida. A major part of this effort, and one of the severe financial consequences to the Company and the relocating employees, is the successful marketing and sale of their current residences. This process during a favorable residential real estate market presents many difficulties, however, during the past and present, unfavorable conditions have made this a most difficult task. This has in turn created a negative feeling on the part of certain employees who have not been as fortunate as I in the successful marketing of their homes at a price above the guaranteed appraisal.

It is interesting to note that your firm was successful in closing the deals for the two employees of W. R. Grace & Go. who reside in Garden City. The successful completion of the sale of all homes owned by relocating employees would have been greatly enhanced if a firm such as yours was present in all neighborhoods.
